Confirming and paying your reservation

We appreciate your confirming your reservation 5 weeks in advance. You receive your invoice once the number of persons and the required services have all been confirmed. However, you must pay for your tour no later than 27 days before departure. If you make your reservation less than 27 days before departure, the invoice is due immediately. Should you wish to pay for your group reservation against several invoices, the invoicing charge will be 5€/invoice.

Cancellation costs

The chargeable cancellation costs are calculated according to all confirmed services onboard (deck and vehicle places, meals, cabins, meeting facilities) and ashore (hotels and other services arranged by Eckerö Line in Estonia and the Baltic countries).

You may cancel your tour without charge up to 28 days before departure. 27-22 days before departure, the cancellation charge is 25% of the price of the tour; 21-8 days before departure 50% of the price of the tour; 7-2 days before departure 75% of the price of the tour, and under 48 hours before departure, the full charge applies. Places not used and not cancelled are not refunded. The price of the tour is not refunded if the tour is cancelled due to any lack or incorrectness of travel documents (e.g. your passport or visa). If you have not used or cancelled your out-bound tour, Eckerö Line is entitled to cancel your return tour. A hotel package tour may be cancelled without charge before departure by providing a medical certificate. On our hotel package tours, standard conditions of package tours apply.

You are informed of non-standard conditions, should any apply, when you make your booking.

Office fee

All cancellations and refunds are subject to a 5 euro office fee.

Service charge

For ashore program a service charge 20 € is collected as from 1.1.2013

Passenger information

If passenger information was not provided when the booking was made, the list of the names of the group members must be submitted to Eckerö Line no later than 14 days before the departure date. The list of names must include the following information on each passenger: last name, first name, nationality, date of birth (ddmmyy), gender. An accommodation list must be provided in the case of a hotel package tour. These lists of names can be delivered by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Tickets and check in

Group boarding cards are handed out at the West Terminal's Group Check-In, starting 1½ hours before departure. The cards should be collected no later than 1 hour before departure. They can also be collected on the day before departure if this is agreed upon in advance. The ticket, voucher or other evidence of payment is presented at check-in. If group members withdraw, the group leader is required to inform the check-in staff and to return the extra boarding cards.

Passengers with hotel packages

Hotel rooms are usually available at 2 pm (for groups, at 3 pm). Rooms are required to be vacated at noon on the day of departure.

S-Etukortti card

No S-Etukortti card bonus is available for reservations made for groups of 10 or more persons, or in the name of a company or association. A bonus is granted for purchases and services on board. Purchases made with company cards are not eligible for the bonus. The S-Etukortti card is specific to a household and functions only as a cash card.
