A ferry trip is an experience in itself for children, with plenty to explore on the different decks. We welcome travelers of all ages to sail aboard the MS Finlandia.

ParadoXSea family cruises on MS Finlandia

One of Finland's most popular museums, Paradox Museum Helsinki, brings part of its unique exhibition out to sea from 12 to 18 October. 

The collaboration between Eckerö Line and Paradox Museum Helsinki gives rise to ParadoXSea — an immersive children’s programme that fills Bar Nosturi with surprises and discoveries. Visitors can expect real exhibition elements from Paradox, as well as fun activities ranging from kids’ bingo to an exciting treasure hunt.

Stand behind the mirror structure with a friend and marvel at who appears in the reflection.

Spin the rings and see what happens.

Game Tables

A selection of Paradox's fun puzzle games, available for everyone to try.

A shop where cruise passengers can pick up Paradox's bestselling games and other fun products.

Explore the optical illusion images in the Paja corridor. In this exhibition, nothing is quite what it seems…

Programme

The hosted activities vary by departure. The activities are suitable for children of all ages and last 15–20 minutes. Check the timetable for the start time.

Kids' Bingo

A fun twist on a cruise classic, with great prizes to be won.

Draw Together

A creative shared moment where everyone gets to draw on the same canvas together.

Treasure Hunt

An exciting mystery challenge where clues lead you to crack a number code and unlock a treasure chest – with a sweet surprise inside.

Guided programme

Welcome aboard, young adventurers, to fun-guided sessions! With the guide, we will play bingo and draw together. The treasure hunt offers a chance to discover, explore and enjoy delightful surprises.

About Paradox Museum Helsinki

Of course, you get hungry and thirsty during a sea voyage. The restaurants onboard m/s Finlandia serve the whole family.

Buffet Eckerö

  • From the seasonal buffet, you can gather a delicious portion to suit your child’s taste.
  • Milk, juice and soft drinks on tap for the meal.
  • The dessert table is the highlight of the meal for many children: e.g. ice cream, cakes and other treats.
  • We take special diets and allergies into account.
  • During the school holidays, children's favourite dishes are served.
  • The food is prepared in the ship's own kitchen.
  • At Buffet Eckerö, the children get a colouring booklet and crayons.
  • Children eat at the buffet for half the price. Children under 6 eat for free in the company of a paying adult.

Bistro & Cafe Satama

  • Serves several of children's favourite dishes, such as small sausages and mashed potatoes.
  • Snacks for kids of all ages: fruit, yoghurts and baby food.
  • Pastries and ice cream for enjoyment.
  • Bistro & Cafe Satama has a play area for the little ones in the family.

All restaurants and bars

  • Soda bracelets for children for 10€/person. Enjoy unlimited soft drinks.
